The protection of your personal data is very important to MICRO ORGANIC AU PTY LTD (referred to as “Micro Organic”, “we”, “our” and “us”). Under the Privacy Act, you have a right to access and request your information at any time. You may also request that we delete or correct your information. While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure that your personal information is complete and up to date, please notify us of any changes or errors in your personal information held by us. You may access the information we hold about you by placing your request in writing and sending it to us using the contact details below. We will comply with any such request except in the limited circumstances recognised and permitted by law.

    DURATION YOUR INFORMATION IS KEPT

    Any information that we no longer require is destroyed securely. An exception to this may be retention of the information for data analysis. However, if this occurs, the information will be retained in a form that does not allow you to be identified from that information. Deleted membership data may be stored for up to 12 months from the date of opting-out.

    SECURITY

    We take website security extremely seriously and will always endeavour to provide a secure, safe platform to conduct online transactions. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, which encrypts information as it is transmitted over the internet. To ensure you are accessing a secure server, look for the unbroken lock or closed lock symbol on your browser window indicating the SSL is active. However, we suggest that you take appropriate security precautions when you access the internet via public WI-FI networks, shared computers, unprotected devices or use unsecured internet connections.     We will endeavour to respond to you at all times promptly and to offer a practical solution which is consistent with our legal obligations.
